In spring, 2014, initially in Vienna, Gewista inaugurated its development of the Digital City Lights platform. In that first phase, the focus was on the seven largest underground stations in Vienna. Later, another 18 stations were added. In addition to the underground areas, Digital City Lights were installed in high-traffic venues in key city locations in Vienna, Salzburg, Graz and Linz. The state capitals of Klagenfurt and Bregenz are the newest additions to this portfolio. Gewista, with its partners PSG in Klagenfurt and Progress Werbung in Salzburg, has opened Digital City Lights in six of Austria's nine provincial capitals.

The new Digital City Lights in Klagenfurt and Bregenz give agencies and their advertisers a wide of scope of creative design and display options in locations with extremely high audience reach. Ten-second, toneless advertising messages run in a sixty-second loop and can be booked flexibly. Spontaneous special offers, smart content solutions or target-oriented content, can also be programmed individually and with exclusivity.

In addition to the 478 screens in the subway area of the provincial capital, our DOOH-network in Salzburg, Graz, Vienna, Linz, and now also Klagenfurt and Bregenz, currently comprises 80 Digital City Lights with 100 Faces. In the near future, our offerings will be expanded by development in further regional capitals across Austria and the existing networks will then be consolidated.”
