The strong partnership of FIVERS WAT Margareten and Gewista has existed for years and will now be further intensified. Beginning on Thursday, May 14th, 2020, and lasting for two weeks, a District-wide Gewista City Lights campaign will be on display in Margareten, Vienna's 5th District, with FIVERS posters promoting the theme of "protective masks."

On more than 100 illuminated Gewista City Lights displays throughout the Margareten District, young national team players Lukas Hutecek, Herbert Jonas, Nikola Stevanovic and two FIVERS junior players will be shown wearing anti-coronavirus protective masks designed in a cool FIVERS design under the headline "Carry in the fifth – in support of our Margareten handball champions."

These protective masks in the FIVERS look can be ordered in a package of 5 pieces for 25 Euros plus shipping costs via the homepage of THE FIVERS, www.fivers.at . Thus far, more than 2,700 of the FIVERS MNS masks have been sold.

"We have a long-standing partnership with the FIVERS," said Gewista CEO Franz Solta, "and we are happy to provide Gewista City Lights displays to contribute to the successful marketing of the FIVERS masks. The proceeds will mainly benefit the club's important youth work. The campaign will also remind us that the Margareten District is home to one of the most successful Austrian handball clubs."

FIVERS WAT Margareten Manager, Thomas Menzl, said about the cooperation with Gewista, "You have to stick together, especially in these challenging times. We are especially grateful to our partner Gewista and CEO Franz Solta for this initiative. This cooperation with Gewista has a great added value for our entire association. On one hand, we can ingeniously advertise our FIVERS protective masks via Gewista City Lights, and on the other hand we remain -- even if we cannot actively practice the sport we love so much -- present in our home district."

Stephan Auer-Stüger, member of the local council and chairman of the FIVERS board of trustees, said, "Handball is unfortunately taking a break due to coronavirus and as a result so are our handball players from Margareten. By selling these cool FIVERS protective masks, FIVERS is trying to help compensate for the resulting economic losses. Everyone in the Margareten District can get involved and help. We are grateful to our longtime partner, Gewista, with CEO Franz Solta at the head, for this valuable support and on-going partnership."
