This unique Out-Of-Home campaign by Gewista is specifically designed to reach Redmi’s young target group. This new 30-meter display space on Mariahilfer Straße, Austria's most frequented shopping mile, is the ideal presentation area for Xiaomi and its Redmi products.
Creative use of free space
According to Andrea Groh of Gewista, "We can achieve large coverage with our advertising spaces and sustainably increase the visual awareness of campaigns, which also contribute to a more colorful, more beautiful Vienna cityscape. Construction sites, especially in a growing city like Vienna, are now a part of everyday life. As an Out-Of-Home marketer, we have the opportunity on Mariahilfer Strasse to enhance the cityscape with a visual display screen, while at the same time creating greater added value and message impact for our clients. In this case, we reach the many, mostly young, visitors directly while they’re on the shopping street."
Redmi Note series: young target group in focus
Just a few weeks ago, Xiaomi, Austria's third-largest smartphone provider, unveiled the Redmi strategy for this stand-alone product line as well as the brand-new Redmi Note 11 series. The target group is a young, cool and dynamic audience with strong social media affinity. Vienna's Mariahilfer Strasse offers the ideal location to reach this target group with this super-sized 30-meter billboard.
"We are delighted to be working with Gewista. The new Gewista billboard on Mariahilfer Strasse is not only consistent with the shopping trend of young customers, it’s also in the vicinity of important partner retail stores. This is exactly the right venue for presenting our innovative, stylish Redmi product world," says Kurt Manninger, Country Manager of Xiaomi Austria. True to its motto, "innovative products at a smart price," the Redmi line includes a wide variety of products, from the powerful Redmi smartphones to the Redmi InEar Buds and the sporty Redmi Watch 2 Lite.
